The Obama Tidal Wave ...pass it on

I was notified of this from Billy Graham's outfit.  Be afraid...be very afraid!!

-----------------------------------

The Obama Tidal Wave

We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama of rare magnitude..

His speeches have inspired millions and yet most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except platitudes of “Change” or that he says he will be a “Uniter”.

The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma and both his manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions.

On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler inspired millions and the results were catastrophic.

Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but for many Americans out there feeling just like a surfer who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, the real story is what happens when it hits shore.

Just Some of What Defines Barack Obama:

He voted against banning partial birth abortion.

He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions.

Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government.

In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing.

Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair.

Admitted marijuana and cocaine use in high school and in college.

His religious convictions are very murky.

He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Has said that one of his first goals after being?elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations.

Opposed the Patriot Act.

First bill he signed that was passed was campaign finance reform.

Voted No on prohibiting law suits against gun manufacturers.

Supports universal health-care.

Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees.

Supports granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.

Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants.

Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform.

Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.

Wants to make the minimum wage a “living wage”.

Voted with Democratic Party 96 percent of 251 votes.

Is a big believer in the separation of church and state.

Opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid.

He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax.

He voted No on repealing the “Death” Tax.

He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax.

Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded….

He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing.

If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this Email. If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for, are truly not in line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this great Country. We have limited time to save America or the Supreme Court as we know it.

Inaction is action. If you agree this is important, pass it on. The mainstream media will not do it for you!

Bill Brown

MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS . .

Another Local Muslim Observation

Just FYI, I am EXTREMELY pleased that the Supreme Court saw exactly what is written in the Constitution.  However, I am also EXTREMELY disturbed that it went to them in the first place!!  And I'll say no more because it's so distressing that these anti Americans wormed their way into the judicial in the first place.  Power certainly corrupts.

But back to my topic today...  My son was riding the bus and saw a Muslim woman with her TODDLER in a hajib.  He knows that girls are not required to wear the hajib until puberty so he asked the woman why.  She said," Mind your own business".  My son just stared at her and she glared.  Fortunately the other riders noticed also.  Maybe the locals are getting a pair unlike the English.   Did you know that Muslims are forbidden by the Koran to live in a Western society UNLESS they work to bring about the caliphate?  Hence the lack of assimilation.    My kid was also walking in a local grocery store where he say a Muslim man being followed by his wife decked out in full abeya(sp?).  She bumped into my son and freaked out.  The man glared at my kid and kid...being bold like me... told him "What do you expect? She has no peripheral vision."

And another one that has got me thinking.  This week a Muslim was shot and killed in a northern suburb.  It appears he was targeted.  Several months back his younger brother was also killed assassination style.  The family has been successfull and appears to be assimilating.  Hmmm?

Despite What the Media Feeds You....

I heartily endorse this article by George Will:

The gas prices we deserve

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com Rising in the Senate on May 13, Chuck Schumer, the New York Democrat, explained: "I rise to discuss rising energy prices." The president was heading to Saudi Arabia to seek an increase in its oil production, and Schumer's gorge was rising.

Saudi Arabia, he said, "holds the key to reducing gasoline prices at home in the short term." Therefore arms sales to that kingdom should be blocked unless it "increases its oil production by one million barrels per day," which would cause the price of gasoline to fall "50 cents a gallon almost immediately."

Can a senator, with so many things on his mind, know so precisely how the price of gasoline would respond to that increase in the oil supply? Schumer does know that if you increase the supply of something, the price of it probably will fall. That is why he and 96 other senators recently voted to increase the supply of oil on the market by stopping the flow of oil into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which protects against major physical interruptions. Seventy-one of the 97 senators who voted to stop filling the reserve also oppose drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

One million barrels is what might today be flowing from ANWR if in 1995 President Bill Clinton had not vetoed legislation to permit drilling there. One million barrels produce 27 million gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel. Seventy-two of today's senators — including Schumer, of course, and 38 other Democrats, including Barack Obama, and 33 Republicans, including John McCain — have voted to keep ANWR's estimated 10.4 billion barrels of oil off the market.

So Schumer, according to Schumer, is complicit in taking $10 away from every American who buys 20 gallons of gasoline. "Democracy," said H.L. Mencken, "is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to get it good and hard." The common people of New York want Schumer to be their senator, so they should pipe down about gasoline prices, which are a predictable consequence of their political choice.

Also disqualified from complaining are all voters who sent to Washington senators and representatives who have voted to keep ANWR's oil in the ground and who voted to put 85 percent of America's offshore territory off-limits to drilling. The U.S. Minerals Management Service says that restricted area contains perhaps 86 billion barrels of oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas — 10 times as much oil and 20 times as much natural gas as Americans use in a year.

Drilling is underway 60 miles off Florida. The drilling is being done by China, in cooperation with Cuba, which is drilling closer to South Florida than U.S. companies are.

ANWR is larger than the combined areas of five states (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware), and drilling along its coastal plain would be confined to a space one-sixth the size of Washington's Dulles airport. Offshore? Hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed or damaged hundreds of drilling rigs without causing a large spill. There has not been a significant spill from an offshore U.S. well since 1969. Of the more than 7 billion barrels of oil pumped offshore in the past 25 years, 0.001 percent — that is one-thousandth of 1 percent — has been spilled. Louisiana has more than 3,200 rigs offshore — and a thriving commercial fishing industry.

In his book "Gusher of Lies: The Dangerous Delusions of 'Energy Independence,' " Robert Bryce says Brazil's energy success has little to do with its much-discussed ethanol production and much to do with its increased oil production, the vast majority of which comes from off Brazil's shore. Investor's Business Daily reports that Brazil, "which recently made a major oil discovery almost in sight of Rio's beaches," has leased most of the world's deep-sea drilling rigs.

In September 2006, two U.S. companies announced that their Jack No. 2 well, in the Gulf 270 miles southwest of New Orleans, had tapped a field with perhaps 15 billion barrels of oil, which would increase America's proven reserves by 50 percent. Just probing four miles below the Gulf's floor costs $100 million. Congress's response to such expenditures is to propose increasing the oil companies' tax burdens.

America says to foreign producers: We prefer not to pump our oil, so please pump more of yours, thereby lowering its value, for our benefit. Let it not be said that America has no energy policy.

The Commies are being forthright about nationalizing!!!!

Wow!  I never would have believed that politicicians and the media would OPENLY voice their apporoval of Hugo Chavez like they did yesterday.   This is really bad.  They are coming out more and more everyday stating their desires to topple our capitalist structure.  A New York congressman..."Then we can control how much oil gets into the market" and some media broad said "We need to have a NATIONIZED oil structure" and "The government needs to be knee deep in markets"!!!!

And yesterday Nancy Pelosi PULLED a bill  that was destined to pass which would have opened up more oil drilling!!  The Democrats did this folks!!

People, the government already is controlling access to oil through the people pulling their strings...extreme environmentalists who have placed major restrictions on production!!

I have a second job where I deliver as an independent contractor.  My profits are being hurt!

These are the three extremists who pull the strings of politicians:

John Flicker...National Audobon Society
212-979-3000

Francis Beinecke...National Defense Resources
212-727-2700

and the worst ...he is TOURING the East Coast currently in an effort to further influence the coastal politicians

Trip Van Noppen....Earth Justice
510-550-6700

More Insanity

Our society gives individuals power. We believe that every human being has worth according to our Judeo Christian values.  Every one has a potential to be a solution to the human equation.   Those of a liberal bent think humans are burdens to the common society because they believe that resources are finite and must be divided equally among all regardless of individual potential aspirations.

And Barack Obama gave a commencement address regarding the "poverty of ambition".  This is clear marxism!  One is not supposed to have any ambition at all...no freedom, no liberty to pursue your dreams?!  Luckily Tammy Bruce called him onto the carpet about it.  (Tammy Bruce is a great conservative who happens to be a lesbian.  To the left those two items are incongruous because they think strictly about groups.)

That said, I fear greatly for the United States of America considering the three candidates for the presidency.  MClain came out  solidly in the camp of the UN and others of that ilk that want to rape citizens of their  inalienable right to keep the fruits of their labors.

Obama's New Clothes

Talk about mass indoctrination in Oregon and all over the media.  Obama is showing his ignorance and it's just brushed off!   He said small countries do not pose any danger to us  ...as if size mattered.   Japan was a small country!!!   And today there is the possiblity of Iran having a nuclear device....with a nut job at the helm..  One little bit can do a whole lot of damage!

I declare that we are a country weakened by the constant onslaught of political correctness!!

Lost Cause?

I have been moping about because of this wacked out political scene.  We conservatives do not have a candidate OF CHOICE.   The social justice/green/Marxists are flying proudly in a country that is supposed to be capitalist.   Talk about infiltrating the educational system.   And not one but two radical Marxists running for the highest office in the land.   Hilary is cloaking hers somewhat but Obama has a circle of Marxists out there.   I fear that William Ayres recently elected Vice President of a society that guides K-12 curricula will be appointed to Office of Education if Obama is elected.   That mad bomber is unrepentant and reaping benefits.   When will they round up the conservatives?  Crazy thought?  Not when  the government removed 400+ children from their parents without proof of a crime!!

Read the Drudge Report!  This outrage made the national news.  A so called "public" school is actually a madrassas in disguise.  Well who would have thought it?  (Can you detect the sarcasm here?)

Causing Unintended Consequences

I am so upset that the US Congress is having a SHOW TRIAL for oil producer implying that their profits are ill begotten.   They only profit 9 cents on the $1.   The government  takes far more of OUR money.   The oil companies "record profits" is misleading.   The demand is huge so people buy!!! They have something we want.  But the oil companies are only making 9 cents on the $1.   Where is the logic of hauling them before Congress?   The government takes OUR money by force.   We WANT and need  fuel.  The government's action is one of punishing achievers.  Do they really want us to go backward?!!  Must be.
